Often it is necessary to carryout work on components that have vulnerable surfaces such as high-gloss paint or plastic coatings. Surface scratching is like wise a problem with Acrylic glass panels, furniture parts and even sheet metal parts. In the past such surfaces were protected by means of a carpet or rubber mat. The Mink Care-System provides better protection because its supporting brushes allow chips and other small objects to fall between the bristles, avoiding scratching or denting that could lead to rejects. Additionally the low coefficient of friction of the bristle surface, allows easy movement of components and work pieces.
